I’ve always been a sucker for a good ad spot and it seems that lately, Samsung has been on fire releasing clever (and sometimes provocative) commercials for the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 handsets. Today, Samsung uploaded another fun commercial showing off what happens when you combine the art of Kirigami and the ridiculously large display of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. The results are magical. A few days ago we told you that NTT DoCoMo will offer its subscribers in Japan two new Samsung smartphones, the Galaxy Note 2 and the Galaxy S3 Alpha, with the latter being an updated version of the regular Galaxy S3.
The updates include a 1.6GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos 4412 processor and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean under the hood right out of the box, although all other Galaxy S3 versions will soon get their software upgrade – in fact Galaxy S3 buyers in some European countries have already received.
A few days ago we looked at an unconfirmed Geekbench test – which was going to be confirmed later on – that revealed the A6 chip inside the iPhone 5 was faster than its counterparts in current high-end Android devices, and way faster than its predecessors.
The iPhone 5 beat the Galaxy S3 and the Nexus 7, although it’s worth noting that Samsung’s flagship smartphone was tested running Ice Cream Sandwich. Once Jelly Bean arrives to the high-end Android handset, the new iPhone will lose that top spot it currently occupies in that particular test.
A few days ago we saw not one but two leaked Galaxy Note 2 images that looked pretty similar, and pretty interesting at the same time. Both photos featured a Galaxy Note 2 design similar to that leaked Galaxy Note 2 bezel image we saw in the preceding days, and they matched previous reports.
